What is LASIK?

1. FEMTO LASIK

Many refer to this surgery as bladeless femtolaser wavefront LASIK or i-LASIK. Making a corneal flap is necessary for this laser procedure, however a Femtosecond laser is used in place of a microkeratome. Hence, it is called “bladeless.” After this, the prescription for eyeglasses must be treated with a second laser (the excimer laser). 2. PRK
